The beginning of our forever

Devin and Savannah met at Wekiva High School in their gym class. Introduced by mutual friends, Devin introduced himself and Savannah did as well. Devin will say that she had a strong country accent when saying her name, which pulled him in, Savannah will deny that part! After continuing to talk and become friends, Devin asked Savannah to be his girlfriend at the end of freshmen year. After four short days, Savannah broke it off, because they were very awkward and did not talk to each other a lot! Devin was persistent and the two kept talking through summer and into sophomore year. The two had become good friends and planned on going to homecoming together. However, plans were changed and they did not go together. At the dance, they ended up dancing all night together and shared their first kiss! The next day as Savannah was doing homework and Devin was at home, they continued to text and Devin asked the inevitable question, "What are we?" and Savannah replied with, "Well, I thought I was your girlfriend." The next 10 years held many trials and tribulations, adventures, and love. On July 20, 2019, Devin, Savannah, her sisters, and friends were on vacation in St. Pete, FL. They planned to go to the beach one day with her parents and some of their other best friends that all "just happened" to be coming to spend the day with them and some were "in town for work". Savannah just went about her day and had no idea what was ahead of her! Sitting on the beach with the girls, as the boys were in the water, they started talking about who would be in her bridal party and all sorts of wedding talk, she thought nothing of it because she knew they would be married eventually! Later, they were going to dinner, she walked out last and when she stepped out of the door, both families and all of their closest friends were there as Devin started his speech, got down on one knee, and proposed to Savannah!
