Fun fact about Avery: Without Avery, it is likely this wedding wouldn't have happened. Avery convinced Rachel to keep her eyes out for Devin at her twin brother's wedding.

Devin's best bud and college roommate. Frankie is family, it's as simple as that. Fun fact about Frankie: Frankie loves to travel and has visited Devin everywhere that he's lived (VA, DC, Pittsburgh, and Traverse City). They've also traveled to Colorado, Florida, and Tennesse together.
Becca Lane

Becca has been a constant support in Rachel's life since they met in 2013 at Concordia. The girls were teammates and quickly became close friends their freshman year of college. Fun fact about Becca: Rachel went to the ER after she contracted a parasite during her Dominican Republic mission trip. Guess who ended up being her nurse... Becca was the best nurse she's ever had!
Becca Mindling

Rachel's high school best friend and longest lasting friendship. It has been 5 years since they lived in the same state, but they have always made their friendship a priority and remained close despite the distance. Fun fact about Becca: She is fluent in Spanish and spent two years teaching in the Dominican Republic.

Jace is Devin's vote for President in 2032. Jace was Devin’s law school study partner, bonfire bud, and salsa addiction enabler. Jace is half the reason law school was any fun. Fun fact about Jace: Jace helped Devin move out of his apartment in DC. You should ask him to share a few stories . . .
Kevin Strait
Groomsman
Kevin is one of Devin's law school classmates, and a tremendous friend. Not only is Kevin a lawyer, he's also a chemical engineer (with 3 patents), the owner of a pharmaceutical start-up, a locksmith, and a pilot. Never in Devin's life has he ever so sincerely wondered if another person was actually an angel. Fun fact about Kevin: Kevin once helped Devin break into his own safe.
Brittany Dawson

Rachel's soccer teammate in college. There have been countless girls' nights, winery outings, shopping trips, boat days, movie nights, and brunch dates since meeting in 2013 at Concordia. Along with Stephanie and Becca, these girls have enough memories to last a lifetime. Fun fact about Brittany: She is an actual crazy cat lady!
Stephanie Anes

Stephanie and Rachel first met in 2012 at a Ferris State soccer recruiting camp. They ended up both playing soccer at Concordia and becoming roommates their freshman year. Stephanie was like a sister Rachel never had! Fun fact about Stephanie: Stephanie broke records at Concordia as a goalie during her freshman year.
Alex London

Alex is Devin's oldest friend. In fact, they go all the way back to '96. (Yes, Alex is Devin's brother.) Alex and Devin spent their early years playing games, building forts, and climbing trees. Now, they talk about stocks, hiking, and climate change over a beer. Fun fact about Alex: Alex once had an igloo fall on him. Devin dug him out. Devin may or may not have also caused it to collapse. For one reason or another, Alex still likes him (kinda).
Shane Decker

Shane is Devin's bud from high school. Shane and Devin bonded while starting a high school bible study together and volunteering in Detroit. Later, they'd become fierce rivals in a fraternity flag football match for the ages. Shane is also Avery's twin brother. Rachel and Devin reconnected at Shane's wedding and started dating shortly after. Fun fact about Shane: Shane met his wife Alyssa through his college fraternity, BYX. Devin was also in BYX and (being older and wiser) encouraged Shane to join. So, Shane kinda owed Devin a favor...his debt is now paid in full.
Hannah Basinger
Bridesmaid
Hannah and her husband Adam (groomsman) met Rachel and Devin in Pittsburgh at Epiphany Church. Hannah and Devin (who might have been siblings in another life), while in two completely separate conversations at church, heard each other mention being from Michigan. That same day, Hannah and Adam went to Pittsburgh's botanical gardens with Rachel and Devin. The rest is history. Fun fact about Hannah: Her and Adam and expecting their first baby in December 2022!
Adam Basinger

Adam's from Ohio...but we won't hold that against him. (But for real, Adam changed Devin's whole outlook on Ohioans--they're good people after all.) If you read Hannah's bio, you'll know these two gems are married. They're also serving as missionaries at Carnegie Mellon. Adam's greatest strength is that he's just cooler than the rest of us. Fun Fact: Adam (a.k.a. the bonfire king) once helped Devin light 300 candles in 45 minutes.
Emily Johnson

Emily, along with her husband Zac (groomsman), became a good friend of Rachel and Devin during their time in Pittsburgh. The Pittsburgh friends enjoyed Thursday night family dinners together. Because of Emily, family dinner always included a fresh salad! Fun fact about Emily: She has her own business making rosaries! Devin and Rachel have both secretly asked Emily to make a rosary for the other.
Zac Johnson
Groomsman
Zac and Emily just so happened to be living in Pittsburgh at the same time Rachel and Devin were. They met through Hannah and Adam, and the six became close friends. If you can believe it, Zac also graduated law school earlier that year. During law school, nearly all of Devin's friends were lawyers in training. As Devin transitioned out of his life as a law student, Zac's friendship came at the perfect time. Fun fact about Zac: Zac is very possibly America's next Supreme Court Justice (who knows, maybe Jace will nominate him, and Devin will vote to confirm).
