Santa Barbara Airport (SBA)

We recommend flying into SBA. It is super small and easy to navigate. Plus its 10 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara and our wedding venue!

Los Angeles Airport (LAX)

Flying into LAX may be a little cheaper but you will either need to rent a car, take the air bus, or take the train to Santa Barbara. Travel time from LAX to SB is anywhere from 1.5 hours to 4 hours by car depending on traffic. We HIGHLY recommend flying into SBA.

Rental Car?

Looking for the real Santa Barbara experience? If you stay in downtown, in the Funk Zone, on the Mesa or along the Waterfront you will not necessarily need a car. Santa Barbara is very walker and biker friendly and there are even e-bikes all over town that you can rent. Ubers/Lyfts are available for those longer trips around town.

If you are flying into an airport other than SBA, the SB Airbus is a great option for getting to Santa Barbara.

We recommend staying in downtown Santa Barbara, not in Goleta, as transport buses for the wedding will be leaving from downtown Santa Barbara

Air BnB may be the best rental option while you are here :) Pretty much everything in Santa Barbara is no more than 15 minutes from the waterfront so you can't really go wrong with your choice.
