Maid of Honor
Grace and I met in the 5th grade when I joined her Girl Scout troop, and from that moment, we formed a bond that would last a lifetime. We grew up together—navigating the ups and downs of childhood and the years that followed—always there for one another as we each became the people we are today. After college, I was beyond thrilled when Grace moved back to town, and it felt like no time had passed at all. We picked up right where we left off, as if the years apart had never happened. It felt as if no time had passed at all! I have so many amazing memories... going to Encampment, being in the car the first time she drove on the highway, getting ready for countless school dances and the numerous sleepovers we used to have. Those moments, though small, shaped who we are today and solidified our friendship. Our current favorite things to do together is going thrifting and just hanging out and chatting! Grace is one of the most reliable, funny, and loyal friends I’ve ever had. She’s someone I know I can always count on, whether it’s a tough moment or just a casual hangout, she’s always there, offering her humor, and unwavering support. I feel incredibly lucky to have her by my side, and I know that no matter where life takes us, we’ll always find our way back to each other, just like we always have.

Mallory and I first crossed paths during our semester abroad in Florence, Italy. We had two classes together, and it didn’t take long before we became fast friends. We spent our days exploring the city, hanging out between classes, and sharing stories of our travels and dreams. It wasn’t long before we started taking weekend trips together—Croatia, Budapest, and Austria became just a few of the places we discovered side by side. While in Austria and Budapest we got to attend Christmas Markets, where we sipped mulled wine and soaked in the magic of new cities. After returning from our semester in Italy, our travel adventures didn’t stop. We later set off on a 10-day Panama Canal cruise (with Jamie), where we explored new places and created even more unforgettable memories. Our travels didn’t end there—there was a long weekend in Virginia and an entire week in Alaska. She is my travel buddy and I can't wait to see where we travel to next! Mallory is the kind of friend who makes you feel so loved and appreciated, no matter where in the world you are. Even when we’re apart, we keep in touch via text and the occasional Snapchat video—keeping each other updated on life, even from miles away. I’m so grateful to have her by my side, not only through the years of friendship we’ve shared but also on this very special day. I’m lucky to have her standing with me as I take the next step in my life.

Jamie and I first met at the orientation for our semester abroad in Florence, Italy. We started out as casual acquaintances, but it wasn’t until we went on a weekend trip to Bologna and Rimini that we truly became friends. That weekend marked the start of something special, and from then on, we spent our days hanging out between classes, enjoying nights out together, and of course, going for brunch. One of my fondest memories with Jamie has to be the time we went to the zoo. We took a train headed to a zoo a few hours away from Florence. When we arrived, we got the chance to feed giraffes like we were in a petting zoo—literally twisting a coin into a machine that dispensed food, and the giraffe would lean over the fence to eat from our hands. Looking back, I have no idea how they let us do this unsupervised... As if that wasn’t enough, we quickly realized we were the only ones in the zoo and we were stranded with no taxis willing to pick us up, so we ended up walking miles back to the train station. Since Italy we went on a 10 day cruise (with Mallory) and spent a long weekend in Virginia together. I am so grateful to have met Jamie, and even more thankful that our friendship has blossomed over the years. She’s the kind of friend who makes life brighter, who shares a love for travel, and who is always there, no matter the distance or time apart. I can’t wait to see where our friendship takes us next.

Felicia and I first met at Jitters, where I was making her coffee. At first, she was just a customer, but our chats quickly turned into something more. From talking about our favorite books while I served her coffee, to following each other on Instagram, it didn’t take long before we were reading the same book at the same time, texting each other about our thoughts, and sharing more of our lives. What started as casual conversations grew into something much deeper—and before we knew it, we were good friends who bonded over our love for books and music. One of the highlights of our friendship was definitely the summer of 2023 when we went to see Taylor Swift in Seattle. We had the time of our lives, singing along to every song, dancing like no one was watching. It was a night filled with laughter, joy, and memories I’ll cherish forever. Felicia is truly an amazing and caring friend. She has this incredible ability to put others before herself, always thinking of ways to support and uplift those around her. Whether it’s offering a listening ear, going out of her way to help, or simply being there when you need her, she’s the kind of friend who makes life brighter just by being in it. She is the life of the party. It didn’t take long after meeting Felicia to realize that she would be a lifelong friend.

Picture it: the summer of 2018. I had just met Maddy, and I was training her at the coffee shop where we both worked. I was teaching her how to make iced tea... Well, in a classic me moment, I managed to spill THE ENTIRE container of iced tea down her back. And yes, she still became one of my best friends after that! That following summer was filled with so many fun memories. Maddy and I spent the days shopping, thrifting, going to baseball games, and grabbing meals together. We bonded over our shared love for shopping and found ourselves becoming closer and closer with each adventure. Fast forward to this past April, when I had the honor of being a bridesmaid in Maddy’s wedding in Cancun. We spent a whole week celebrating the beautiful Stauffer couple, making unforgettable memories. We have been long distance best friends for 4 years now and when we finally get to see each other in person its like no time has passed. Maddy is always there for me, whether it's to share a laugh, share thrift hauls, or just send a random video to keep each other updated. I am so grateful for our friendship, and I know that no matter the distance, we’ll always find ways to stay connected.

Allie and I first met in the 5th grade, both of us part of the same Girl Scout troop that would lay the foundation for a friendship that would last a lifetime. During college we had weekly lunch dates and spent countless hours together—studying, laughing, and supporting each other through the struggles of college and life. She was my first friend to meet Devin and she will most likely tell this story at the wedding... I remember one day looking at Allie and saying, “You’re going to officiate my wedding one day.” She replied instantly, “I want to be a bridesmaid!” So, we compromised... Allie will be both my officiant and one of my bridesmaids. I can’t think of anyone more perfect for both roles. Allie is, without a doubt, one of the kindest people I have ever known. She has this incredible ability to make everyone feel valued, and she prioritizes her friends in a way that makes you feel seen and loved. No matter what’s going on in her life, she’s always there for you—offering support, a listening ear, or a good laugh when you need it most. Her loyalty is unmatched, and I’m beyond grateful to have her by my side, not just today, but for all the years to come.

Shannon and I first crossed paths in 2016 when we were working a seasonal job together. Little did we know, this job—filled with stress, supervising employees, and navigating the chaos of working with tourists from all over the world—would set the stage for a lasting friendship. The challenges of that job became the perfect backdrop for us to bond, sharing laughs and offering each other support through the toughest days. In 2022, I had the honor of being a bridesmaid at Shannon’s wedding, and I couldn’t have been happier to be part of her special day. One of my favorite memories from the wedding was when the bridal party jumped around in a bouncy house—let's just say we kept slipping and falling, but we laughed our butts off the whole time! The photo from that moment always makes me smile. Shannon is one of the smartest, most fun people I know—hands down, the best trivia buddy anyone could ask for. But beyond her intelligence, she’s nonjudgmental, supportive, and always stands up for those she cares about. She’s the kind of friend who will have your back no matter what, and I feel incredibly lucky to have her in my life. I feel incredibly lucky to have Shannon in my life. She’s one of those rare friends who makes life better just by being in it, and I know I can always count on her for love, laughter, and unwavering support.
