We already have everything that our home needs, and beyond that, your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. It will be an open bar with various options of spirits, wine, beers, coolers, and shooters - the drinks are on us, the hangover is on you!
Unfortunately, our event will be adults-only and limited to those expressly included on the RVSP due to strict limited capacity.
The ceremony is intended to be outside, so please dress accordingly! While there are some paths in the Botanical Gardens, a large portion is just grass, so be mindful of your shoe choice. We will have water bottles available at the site in case of hot weather. The reception will be completely indoors.
If you would like to tour the botanical gardens before the ceremony, plan to arrive around 1:15pm. Otherwise, please plan to arrive no later than 1:45pm so that you have sufficient time to park and find your seat. The ceremony will be starting shortly after 2:00pm and arriving late will cause disruptions.
Please plan to arrive between 4:50pm and 5:30pm to allow yourself ample time to take advantage of the open bar, mingle with other guests, find your seat, and otherwise get settled. Dinner will be served around 6:00pm.
Yes, please wear cocktail or semi-formal attire; however, make sure that you can dance in whatever you're wearing as we want to see you on the dance floor! Feel free to plan for an outfit or shoe change for when the dance floor opens if needed.
We will have light snacks during cocktail hour, a buffet meal for dinner, and a late night snack. Please ensure that you provide any dietary restrictions with your RVSP so that we can work with our caterer to accommodate you.
Yes, there is a hotel block at the Four Points by Sheraton Edmonton South (the location of the reception). There is a finite number of rooms that are available, so please book early if you would like to take advantage of the discount.
