Kelly’s MOH, they met in 5th grade at Vulcan Middle School and became fast close friends. They first shared interest in horses, farm life and sports (still true today). They got to grow up together through middle school years, graduated together and were able to stay close friends throughout adult hood. Love you Buddy <3

Devin’s Best man! They met in Mrs. Arther’s 6th grade and shared a love of four wheelers, dirt bikes, and everything outdoors. They’ve remained close into adult hood and still share their childhood passions.

Madi Schalow

Kelly’s MOH. Madi and Kelly met through Kelly’s childhood ‘brother’ Michael. Kelly approved right away (inside joke) and have since become close friends. Devin and Kelly have traveled together with Madi & Michael to Cancun, Mexico; Wisconsin Dells; and hopefully more to come!

Trevor and Devin met in middle school. They bonded first over their love of football and weightlifting. They also shared a love for hunting, fishing and visits to camp! Kelly and Devin got to visit Trevor (&Savanah) down in Texas and also enjoy their visits back to the U.P. during Ski Jump season.

Jess and Kelly met freshman year 1st semester of college at Michigan State University in genetics class. They then went on to be next door neighbors and then roommates junior and senior year. They had a love of sports together and shared a lot of the same classes (forever trauma bonded haha)! They have continued to visit each other on birthdays, UP trips and the occasional college event!

Devin and Owen first met in middle school, but became close friends in early high-school and that has continued post grad and into adult hood. They share a love of guns, golfing, and lake days with the boat and jet ski!

Sarah Oesterling

Kelly and Sarah first met freshman year at Michigan State University! Kelly thinks the first time was at a Co-Ed volleyball inter-mural practice (long ago now). Sarah became Kelly’s voice of reason in college, and kept her and Jess in check. You’re welcome parents! They have continued to stay close and have visited each other in their respective home towns along with a trip to Philadelphia to visit Sarah (&Jess).

Charlie Davinson

Groomsman

Charlie (Chuck) and Devin met at Northern Michigan University while Devin was in line school. They were next door neighbors and then became roommates! They liked to hike, go to hockey games, and enjoyed finding trouble on the weekends. Lots of stories about these two in there college years! Now they enjoy getting together for ski jumps when Chuck visits the U.P., doing a boys trip to Manistee (ask the mayor about their singing voices) and the occasional trip downstate.

Rach Dauer

Kelly and Rachel met sophomore year through mutual friends and she quickly became Kelly’s safe space. Rachel is the friend you need for advice and would never steer you down the wrong path of life. They have visited each other (UP trip) and also have done a trolley ride in Rach’s hometown after college!

Devin and Michael met through Kelly (childhood friend) and enjoy side by siding, bird hunting, and completing house projects (not entirely enjoyable haha). They bonded in Cancun, Mexico when we celebrated his anniversary and Kelly’s Birthday in 2024. Excited for more adventures to come!

Jada Plante

Jada and Kelly met in 5th grade at Vulcan Middle School. They were quick friends that were interested in ‘boys’ baseball, swimming/sunbathing, and causing ruckus! There are many stories to share of Kelly and Jada and lots of them are funny… some a little more dangerous haha! They have continued to stay close even though they have lived apart since high-school (until recently.. yay!!)

Zack Bozile

Devin’s older brother! They grew up riding fore-wheelers, three-wheelers and dirt bikes. They also enjoy fishing together and the occasional side by side ride. They have spent a lot of time on their respective houses the last couple years and have become quite the handyman’s and also mechanics!

Sydney Butler

Sydney and Kelly became friends in 5th grade and were able to stay friends through all these years. They were able to connect in college for game days, Kelly stood in Syds wedding, and Kelly got to celebrate the first baby of the friend group. They have remained close even though they live 8 hours away from each other. They love to visit and catch up when each is in there ‘neck of the woods’ and although life’s different, sometime it seems as though we’re still at the school lunch tables catching up about our days!

Canyon and Devin met through Kelly (childhood friend). They enjoy hunting, fishing, gardening, all things camp, and side by siding together. They like to play smear and cribbage in their downtime and enjoy having a couple drinks together.

Britta Grayvold

Britta and Kelly are close friends from 5th grade. They were paired in the same homeroom and were told to look out for each other (teacher kids)! They ended up becoming even closer friends in 7th grade when they shared the same homeroom together. They played basketball, volleyball and softball in middle and high school together. They have shared a love of traveling and got to go to Cancun and Disney world together in high-school. They’ve since remained close even though they don’t live around the same area anymore. Many visits to MKE when Britta was at school (MSOE) have created memories of a lifetime... and now in adulthood we love to catch up when timelines meet up right!

Devin and Austin (AV) met in Kingsford middle school. They enjoy hunting and various fishing together (stream, lake, ice). They enjoy the fall and getting together at camp for poker! They both live around the area and try to catch up when schedules align!
