Can I bring my kids and/or a date?

In order to keep our guest list on track, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions!

How close are the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The Grosse Pointe Academy & Grosse Pointe Yacht Club are approximately 3 miles apart and are both located on Lake St. Clair.

What is parking like?

Answer

The Academy has ample parking for all of our guests. The Yacht Club will have complimentary valet for you.

Is Uber/Lyft available?

Answer

Yes!! We very, very highly recommend taking Uber or Lyft to the ceremony/reception. Summer in Detroit is very busy, so there should be plenty of Ubers/Lyfts around the venues for you to order. Please let us know if you need help setting up an account or have any other transportation questions!
