We're Getting Married!

It all started in 2017. Justina's childhood best friend (Matron of Honor) and Devin's childhood best friend (Groomsman), who are siblings, celebrated their birthdays in Vegas. Both, Justina and Devin accompanied their friends to this celebratory weekend where the two paths crossed. The first encounter involved Devin calling Justina and her friends "fairly attractive," which did not go over well with the group. Devin worked hard to come back from what he thought was a compliment. As the weekend progressed, conversation revealed that both Devin and Justina had travelled from Tampa. However, it wasn't until the last night in Vegas, that Devin made his move. As Devin causally left the group to catch his flight, he quickly returned to Justina asking for her number in hopes to reunite in Tampa. Two days later Devin asked Justina out for dinner. To their surprise, they lived three minutes from one another. Three months later, the couple was having dinner in Thailand. The rest is history.

To Justina's surprise, the weekend of her 27th birthday would be the most life changing. As the couple prepped for the closing on their first home, Devin planned to pop the big question. Family flew from New York to Tampa to assist the couple with moving; at least that's what Justina thought. However, when plans changed, pushing the couple's home closing back Devin's proposal plans were forced to change. Adjusting with the circumstances, Devin planned a brunch with their families that ended with him and Justina sneaking away to walk their dog. To Justina's surprise, she walked into her proposal, with a room filled of "Will you marry me" balloons and a huge box wrapped with a mystery gift inside. Upon opening the box, Justina found an engagement ring as Devin dropped to one knee to ask for her hand in marriage. As Justina quickly answered yes, family ran in with matching shirts to celebrate with the newly engaged couple. That night the couple attended their surprise engagement party. The next day they attended Justina's birthday celebration. The following day, the couple closed on their first home!
