Devin & JohnRyan first met in a special place they both get to call home - Vail, CO. It all started at the Vail Summer Bluegrass Series when JohnRyan was doing photography & Devin was working the artists' hospitality tent. There was a special spark from the beginning, and although Devin lived in Kremmling at the time, JohnRyan would invite her up to snowboard & crash on his couch. In 2016, Devin got the offer to come work at the hospital in Vail and made the move up to the Rocky Mountains. JohnRyan was secretly very excited to continue their strong friendship. Over the years they became next door neighbors, went to many Phish shows together, had lots of ski days shredding pow, and enjoying mountain life. At the beginning of COVID, March 2020, everyone thought the world was ending and Devin & JohnRyan found love within each other. They both were furloughed, and were able to travel the southwest and enjoy the summer in Vail with plenty of free time to hike, bike, and develop a deep affection & connection. In 2021, Devin bought a condo on the Eagle Vail Golf Course and together, they spent over a year remodeling the entire condo showing the true strength of their relationship. Fast forward to JohnRyan’s birthday, 2023, they went backcountry snowmobiling to Granite Falls + Hot Springs in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and JohnRyan asked for Devin’s hand in marriage as his birthday gift. The rest is history and now they are so excited to share their love & marriage with you in Watkinsville, GA on May 4, 2024.

We are so excited to share our special day with y'all at the majestic home of JohnRyan's father and stepmother, David and Becky Lockman. A few miles south of Athens, this property was where JohnRyan was fortunate to spend his childhood recreating on the lake/rope-swing/slide and generally causing havoc :) It is actually the same location of David and Becky's wedding many years ago. We are sooo thankful to Becky and David for allowing us to invite all of you to share our special day as this beautiful space!
