WE ARE GETTING MARRIED!

Devin and Halle met at a social event in Hattiesburg, MS. Devin lived in Alabama and Halle lived in Mississippi. Although there was a state line separating them they continued to talk to one another almost everyday. As time went on so did their conversations. Their friendship grew very strong until one day they realized there was something more between them. They finally started dating and soon they started dating with the intent of marrying, and almost two years later, Devin proposed to Halle.

Devin picked Halle up early one Saturday morning and told her that he wanted to take her to a special breakfast spot in his hometown of Mobile, Alabama. Once breakfast was over we went to a movie, and after the movie Devin asked if I was interested in going to a drive through Christmas light show. Christmas is my absolute favorite time of the year. The light show was beautiful and simply romantic. Halle soon saw the end to the drive through of lights. As they went over the last speed bump in order to exit, Devin said four words Halle would never forget, "Halle look over there." As she looked with confusion she saw the words "Halle Will You Marry Me?", the words were lined across the front of Devin's car on posters held by his family members. In tears Halle said YES!
