This is a Semi-Formal event. Tuxes and gowns are not necessary. A suit and tie, long dresses or cocktail dresses are perfect for our special day! Please keep in mind, the wedding will be primarily outdoors. Ladies may want to consider a block heel to explore the beautiful grounds.
There will be a shuttle running from The Grand Traverse Resort to The Garvey Family Barn every 15-20mins.
In the event it rains, the ceremony will be moved to the deck covered under a tent. The reception will remain in the barn as planned.
Yes, but will be limited. We recommend either jumping on the shuttle at the Resort or taking a taxi/Uber/Lyft.
