We're getting married!

Gary was traveling from PA up to MA to visit a friend of his for Labor Day Weekend. Turns out, his friend was actually a mutual friend of mine! We all met up and spent the whole weekend together. It was then we both knew we would want to see each other again. With much excitement, I made the 5 hour drive to PA the following weekend to see him. We spent the next 6 months traveling back and forth to see each other and finally on March 6, 2016 I mustered up the courage and moved my life to PA to be with him. Our journey has continued to grow from there!

My 27th birthday, in the midst of a world pandemic and during the dreaded quarantine we all went through due to COVID-19. Gary was so upset my birthday would be, for lack of a better word, “ruined” due to the current situation in the world. I had been working from home for over a month at that point, and was getting ready to take my afternoon break for lunch. All morning, Gary kept insisting we get a nice picture outside for my birthday. We walked out to one of our pastures and he began to prop his phone up so we could get a self timed photo. He walked over next to me, as I’m fixing my hair and getting in position for the picture, when all of a sudden music started playing and I looked over to my best friend down on one knee and tears streaming down his face. I immediately started crying too and could not stop hugging him! And of course, said YES! That will forever be my favorite birthday and memory! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you all and create more amazing memories!
