It all started with a broken AC… and what was supposed to be a very normal workday. He was just there doing his job. She was just trying to keep her classroom from turning into a sauna. He offered to set up some fans (hero behavior, honestly). She said yes. Simple enough. Then he offered his number. She said no. …But only for a few seconds. Because something about him felt different. So she changed her mind, numbers were exchanged, and one text turned into a conversation that never really ended.
