Devin & Gabe met at Stacked Sandwich Shop, Gabe's first restaurant...in real life! One of Devin's old sales reps used to work with Gabe at Multnomah Whiskey Library and sold him wine at Stacked. Devin worked with her one day and they went in to taste wine with Gabe. After the meeting they both asked her "who is that?" It didn't seem to be the right time and they connected again about five months later when Devin visited Stacked with a new sales rep. They exchanged waves and once Devin left she looked him up on social media, followed him right away and received a follow back. A couple days passed and a DM popped up in Devin's inbox. They started chatting and a few days later went out. The rest is history!

Devin & Gabe went to Scottsdale, AZ for what Devin thought was a weekend trip for New Year's Eve with friends. They drove four hours up to the Grand Canyon, to visit the National Park where neither one of them had been. They stopped by a pretty touristy spot near the visitor's center at first to check out the views, then they drove east a bit to Shosone Point, where they hiked in for about 25 minutes, through the snow. Once they got to the point, there was no one else there. They walked out to the point to take a picture and then Gabe grabbed Devin's hand and told her that he had spoken to Hayden before she left for winter break to see her dad, and asked her if he could marry her mom. He then got down on one knee and asked Devin to marry him. She was completely surprised and had no idea what he had been planning. Best. Day. Ever.
