we’re getting married!

We were introduced by a co-worker of Devin's who had graduated high school with Zeke. After a day of snowboarding with some youth at their program, Devin and this co-worker snagged drinks with some friends- Zeke included. Due to Devin's persistence (and killer personality), they began to spend more time together and developed a friendship during the 6th month's before Zeke left for law school in Washington. After leaving, Zeke recognized how amazing this girl was and finally asked Devin out. Now here we are!

As Zeke was nearing his departure date for Washington, we were focused on spending time together (Devin more than Zeke, haha). We, along with the pups, went on an early morning hike around Turtle Rock in Vedauwoo. This was the first time that Zeke decided to truly open up and share with Devin about experiences that made him feel vulnerable. For the proposal, Zeke woke Devin at an ungodly hour to go on a sunrise hike around Turtle Rock, once again with LadyBird and Gracie. We found the spot where we had sat for hours over 3 years ago and he asked me to marry him! With the sun rising over the rocks, it was beautiful.
