Welcome to our wedding website!

We met at work in the spring of 2016 when Devin changed jobs. We both joined a volleyball team, and with the help of our teammates, we got to know each other during the season. Fast forward a few months, and Devin asked for Erin's number in the elevator at work. He texted her for the first time after his flight to Boston got cancelled for Adam and Shantale Greenson's wedding and we hung out at Washington Park for the first time outside work. Our first date was to see a Ryan Reynolds superhero movie called Deadpool at Red Rocks Amphitheater. We left early because the weather turned bad. Erin didn't know this was a date...Our second date was to see some local live music. Erin informed Devin that she couldn't date him because they worked together. This saddened Devin's mood substantially and they decided it would be a good idea to get a slice of pizza. He was still sad but a little less hungry. He also questioned Erin's ability to eat pizza since she removed 75% of the cheese. Finally in late August Devin and Erin had their first kiss, and by the end of September we were officially a couple.

Devin proposed at Fortunes Rocks Beach a few miles from our home. I suggested a walk early in the morning on June 12th thinking we'd get in a bit of exercise before the day got started. Devin had other plans, and half way through our walk grabbed me in a bear hug and told me had a very important question to ask me. Naturally, I thought he was going to ask me about our plans for the weekend or about a future trip. To my surprise he dropped down on one knee, and asked if I would be his wife. I quickly responded yes, and we spent the weekend celebrating with family! Devin would like to add that he chose and bought the ring himself on Cinco de Mayo 2021, using Shawn Paquette as his alibi for being out and about. Shout out to Alex Klein, Erin's sister, whom Devin had asked months before what style ring her sister would like. Devin also did his due diligence with the father of the bride, Kevin Klein. Devin obtained permission over the phone from Kevin, who was overjoyed to have Devin marry his 2nd daughter, as long as he picked up the golf clubs again. (That last part is a joke!) Devin was so excited to make Erin his wife that he proposed a mere 3 days after picking up the engagement ring. He wasn't sure exactly where, how, or when he would propose. When the opportunity presented itself at our hometown beach that we love so much, he dropped to one knee and asked her to spend the rest of her life with him.

All the credit to Erin, she and mom Lauren went to see the venue and fell in love with it. Devin went out with Erin days later and decided this was the place.
