Devin and Dora met on a warm tropical night on June 11th 2017, in Daytona Beach Florida. Dora had just recently moved to Florida just five months prior to graduating from Eastern Kentucky University. Devin was currently a senior at Bethune Cookman University. On the night of June 11th, two beautiful souls smiled at each other from across a crowded dance floor where they then decided to make small talk, laugh, and dance all night. By the end of the night Devin asked Dora for her number and they smiled and said goodbye. Over the course of a few months they talked and Face-timed all night and day . Devin eventually gathered the courage to ask Dora out on a date where they explored Ponce Inlet Lighthouse and Museum, enjoyed the waves at the beautiful Ponce Inlet Beach, and enjoyed a nice meal in the city. They became inseparable and experienced a love like no other.

After 3 years of an amazing true love and relationship together, Devin knew that Dora was the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. He decided to take the next step in making Dora his wife. Devin treated Dora to a manicure and pedicure a week prior to their engagement. He told her that they were going on a surprise date in Daytona the following Friday night and she was so excited. On that following Friday evening, Devin asked Dora to put on a simple dress, hoping not to make her suspicious of the engagement, and they would head to Daytona for a beautiful evening. As they were nearing their destination Devin told Dora to put on a blindfold and led her out of his car. As she walk in to a building lovely romantic music surrounded her, followed by the sound of cameras flashing. He finally asked her to stop walking and remove the blindfold. When she pulled off the blindfold she was greeted with a few of her closest friends and mother who all held signs saying “Will You Marry Me” as well as a smiling Devin down on one knee looking up at her with so much love and adoration. He asked her the big question and of course she said YES!
