We met on tinder (dating app for those who are unfamiliar with it) back in October 2015 and we had an amazing first date! We briefly talked on the app then met up at Perch in downtown Los Angeles a couple of days later. We had dinner and drinks at Perch, danced at the Association, then ended the night at Venice Beach! So much adventure on our first date and now we're getting married!

In May 2019, we took an amazing and adventurous 10-day cruise through Greece, Malta, Sicily, and Italy! This was our first trip out of the country together. We were so eager to go on the trip and Amber wasn’t expecting the proposal to happen since Devin told her it wouldn’t happen on the cruise because he thought it was corny. Little did she know that he actually purchased the ring months prior to May and he was waiting for the perfect moment to surprise her with the ring. During the 4th day of the trip, we stopped in Mykonos (which was extremely beautiful and relaxing-highly recommend) to go to the beach, do some shopping, and enjoy the views. While we were there, we decided to check out the 180 degree sunset bar, however once we arrived to the top of the hill, we found out it was closed. Amber was so disappointed and irritated that we hiked all the way up the hill to find out that we couldn’t go inside and see the amazing view that people raved about in blogs. While walking down the hill very hot and sweaty, Devin told Amber to turn around. Of course, Amber was like “Why? Lets just keep walking.” However, she decided to turn around to see what he wanted. When she turned around, Devin was on one knee and she was so surprised! She immediatey said yes and it was the absolute best part of the trip!
