Who we are today and what we’ve become as a family, as best friends and a team us power-couple. Our union has been written in the stars! Taking it all the way back to the beginning, Devin and I met in 1998 at a Tyrone’s Chicken joint, one day before my 15th Birthday and from that day forward we developed a friendship that has and will last forever. We often laugh about the long phone calls all day and night and the weird code words we would send to our beepers. We'd both get into trouble trying to see each other; I was supposed to go to the store only and come right back home and Devin was not supposed to have company while his mother was working, but somehow we managed to see each other. Devin always says he'd bet I would glow and blush after seeing his mothers number on my parents caller ID, and I'd never admit it until this day, but "it's true, I did," and he too would do the same after seeing my parents number on his mothers caller ID. Side note, our parents still have the same numbers today 😊, but no more beepers and caller ID boxes. LOL As time passed we remained friends, but it was something different and special about our friendship. Devin would always say “one day you’re gonna be my wife!” The something special about us, was the bond manifesting then, that has created the life we share together now! We’re a family of nine with two grandchildren. The love we have for each other has blossomed into best friends, business partners and forever soulmates.
