Best Man
Zach and Devin were roommates at Southern, and became fast best friends, bonding over their love of soccer, video games, and memes. They make a great escape room team, and we've gone on lots of fun vacations with him and his wife Sierra. Zach is energetic, kind, and always willing to help, which makes him an excellent elementary school teacher in Hamilton County.
Maid of Honor
Naomi is my younger sister by 2 1/2 years. She is my best friend, my total opposite, and the person who, of course, has been there through it all! Can you get much more "ride or die" than your own sister? She is a freshman theology major at Walla Walla University. Her favorite things include collecting hot wheels, meeting new animals, and rocking pink hair. She has a heart bigger than anyone I know, and I can't wait to have her standing right next to me on the big day.
Groomsman
Ryan is Devin's older brother by six years, and share their love of travel, especially to Asia. Ryan met his wife Farhana in South Korea, where they taught English through the cultural exchange program, EPIK. Ryan has a big heart for counseling teenagers, and is known to advocate for equality in schools. He and Farhana are both school counselors in Atlanta, and they live with their adorable pup Meeko!
Bridesmaid
I met Kelby at Campion Academy, her family lived right on campus so we would sign off to "her house" as an excuse to go to Starbucks in her cute little pickup truck (sorry dean Johnson we love you). We've worked together at summer camp, and doing literature evangelism. Kelby is a secondary-education major at Walla Walla University. Whichever classroom she teaches will be so lucky to have her!
Groomsman
You can hear Richard's laugh from a mile away and we love him for that! Richard and Devin met in the theology program at Southern and spent almost all of their time together figuring out life, getting Panda Express, and watching The Office on repeat. You can always count on him to crack a joke at an inappropriate moment, push your buttons, or drop everything and be there for you in a second.
Bridesmaid
We met in middle school at Spencerville Adventist Academy in Maryland, and reunited at Southern! Inseparable since, we've navigated growing up together, going on first dates, grew closer to Jesus together, and endless Friday night sleepovers. *Cue true friend by Hannah Montana.
Groomsman
"Metott" and Devin met in undergrad at Southern, through the best man Zach. He's known for being very silly, and a great listener. Metott is very selfless, loves taking care of other people and listening to them. He's very silly, and knows how to have a good time. He lives in the Chattanooga area and works as a counselor for young people.
Bridesmaid
Elaina and I met at Campion Academy and lived together junior year of high school. We went to college together, honestly she's the reason I chose Southern. Elaina always knows how to make me laugh, and forever is pushing me to try new things and look on the bright side of life!
Groomsman
Tim and Devin are friends from the theology program at Southern, where they both graduated and went on to be sponsored to seminary at Andrews University. They love watching movies together, and shared their love of singing in a traveling acapella group. Tim is friendly, outgoing, and draws people to him with his larger than life personality.
Bridesmaid
Sierra and Devin met when they were both dorm chaplains at Southern. They became super fast friends, and he was even able to introduce her to Zach (her now husband)! She became a really meaningful friend to me shortly after Devin and I started dating! Sierra is a great listener, very empathetic, and an excellent friend to have on a double date!
Groomsman
Mark and Devin met in theology undergrad at Southern, and were hired by the same conference! They are currently doing their masters in divinity online together at Andrews University. Mark is the ultimate hype man, and a genuine friend!!
Bridesmaid
Rayna and I met when we were both sophomores in high school! We would have to separate ourselves in class because once we started laughing we couldn't stop. We love going to target together, like a lot. But it's probably not the best thing for our wallets. Rayna has a huge heart for travel, taking care of people. She is graduating from Union this semester with her BSN and moving closer to me, in Knoxville, TN (yay!)
