We initially met Devin's freshman year of High School. We were in the same EnCor for several years and began talking as friends and It just kind of escalated from there. At this time, little did we know, I was also in the same small group at church as his sisters and he occasionally joined them as well. Through all of this, within a couple of years of knowing each other, we went bowling on our first date just shortly after our first church trip together and that was it for us.

December 2020, Devin had invited my friend from work and her fiancée to go with us to see the Christmas lights at Botanica, as they were not from the area and had never seen them before. Around this time, I was heavily encouraged to have my nails done pretty consistently which was silly for me as I am an artist and rarely can keep them looking decent. At the biggest tree, slightly off the path of the lights, Devin got down on one knee and pulled out a little box and I couldn't even speak. I nodded yes and he hugged me tight while cheers could be heard around us.

We have, since then, settled down into our first home with our fur babies and are adjusting to life as homeowners and young adults. This crazy life is full of flooding, remodeling, barking dogs, budgeting, weekend getaways, and much much more! We just CANNOT wait to celebrate with all of you!
