Travel Note
We recommend renting a car while you're in town, as there is unfortunately no public transit or rideshare on the island. See the spreadsheet linked in our digital invite to coordinate rental cars and carpooling with other guests. Bainbridge Island is mainly accessible by ferry from Seattle. The ferry runs once an hour, and crossing time is 35 minutes. Check out the ferry schedule at the linked website for timings and fares - you might want to make a reservation, especially if you are bringing a car onboard. Alternatively, you can avoid the ferry and take the scenic drive. The drive is 90 minutes and goes through Tacoma, Kitsap Peninsula and Poulsbo before entering Bainbridge from the north side of the island.
Flight
SeaTac is the closest airport to Bainbridge Island. It is a 20-minute drive from the airport to Seattle Ferry Terminal, where you can catch the ferry to Bainbridge Island. Alternatively, it is a 90-minute drive from the airport to Bainbridge Island via the scenic route.
Hotel
Here is a list of hotels on Bainbridge Island: -Marshall Suites (Group/Block name: Reddy/Burke Wedding) -Quality Inn (Group/Block Name: reddy/burke) -The Inn (directly across from our wedding venue) Alternatively, there are plenty of AirBnbs and VRBOs. If you'd like to split a place with somebody but aren't sure who, feel free to reach out to us! If you do decide to stay in Seattle rather than Bainbridge Island, we would encourage you to be mindful of the ferry schedule/traffic and plan to arrive early! There is a cute downtown area with plenty to do if you end up having some time to kill before the ceremony.
