Do I need to stay at the Hyatt Ziva Cancun to attend the wedding?
Answer
We kindly ask all our guests to stay at the Hyatt Ziva Cancun, as the resort will not permit outside access to the property, even to attend a wedding. Staying on-site ensures you’ll have the best experience and seamless access to all the wedding weekend events. We hope you’ll love staying at the Hyatt Ziva Cancun as much as we do—it’s a beautiful all-inclusive experience that will make the wedding weekend extra special! Is there a dress code for the wedding?
Answer
We’re excited to celebrate with you at our oceanfront wedding in Mexico! We kindly ask our guests to dress in cocktail attire. For women, cocktail dresses or midi or maxi dresses are perfect for the occasion. For men, we suggest lightweight suits or blazer-and-trouser combinations. The ceremony will be held overlooking the ocean (not directly on the sand).

Tell me more about the fishing excursion!
Answer
Guests are invited to join the groom and his father for a fishing trip on Friday morning. If you’d like to join this excursion, text Jordan Simon to be added to the list of fishermen and women! 🎣 The charter boat will send transportation to pick up the group directly from the hotel, so please be ready by 6:45 AM (subject to change) and meet at the resort entrance. Bring a hat, sunscreen, shorts, and if you have one, a sun shirt. Make sure to eat breakfast or grab some snacks from the resort before we go. Fishing gear and drinks (beer, soda, bottled water) will be provided on the boat.
