In lieu of gifts, please bring a dish to share for our potluck reception after the ceremony that can be served at room temperature (and a serving utensil). You are welcome to bring food for yourself if you are uncomfortable taking part in a potluck. Please meet us at our house to drop off potluck contributions before heading to the park, and utilize this time if needed to make a pit stop in our restroom! We understand that putting restrictions on what is served may make it a bit more difficult, but we kindly ask that you consider Kora's gluten and dairy sensitivities when planning your dish. Not everything has to be gluten and dairy free, though, don't stress!

The ceremony will be held at the barn in the park campsite, about 1/4 mile from the nature center (restrooms located in this building. You may want to make a pit stop before the ceremony, however, due to the pandemic, they may be closed! The park has had a porta-potty on-site recently). Wear shoes you can walk in, the trail to the barn is unpaved. Please be aware that we plan to keep the ceremony short, and we encourage everyone to maintain the CDC's recommended distance of 6 feet between people. Our minister will be wearing a face covering, and we recommend that you have one handy for the times that we may be closer together than 6 ft!

We will provide non-alcoholic drinks, rosé, white, and sparkling wine, as well as dessert. Please feel free to bring a musical instrument, outdoor toys, packable chairs, or a quilt to sit on if you would like to spend time outside. Memorial day weekend typically has beautiful weather! We will have plenty of hand sanitizer and antibacterial hand soap. Surfaces will be disinfected before you arrive, we ask that you help us keep everyone attending safe by wearing a face covering if we are within six feet of one another, washing your hands often, and taking advantage of the disinfectant solution that we will have available. Please remember to sanitize your hands before and serving yourself food! If the thought of a potluck is concerning to you, you are more than welcome to bring your own food!
