FAQs

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

September in Arizona is still very much summer in the desert ☀️ Expect warm to hot temperatures, with daytime highs typically in the upper 90s and evenings cooling down into the 70s–80s. Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, so plan for warm weather!

Question

Are the ceremony and reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outdoors, so plan accordingly for sunshine early on and a warm desert evening. The reception will be held indoors.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We’ve reserved a room block at The Scottsdale Resort & Spa, which will also be the central hub for the weekend. This is where the welcome party on Friday and farewell breakfast on Sunday will take place, making it the easiest and most fun place to stay! That said, we know there are lots of great options in the area, so please feel free to stay wherever best fits your needs and preferences.

Question

Will there be transportation on the wedding day?

Answer

Yes! Transportation will be provided to and from the venue on Saturday. More details on timing and pickup locations will be shared closer to the wedding.

Question

What are some things to do?

Answer

So many things! From great restaurants and bars to pool time, golf, hiking, and shopping in Old Town—Scottsdale is one of our favorite places for a reason. Make a weekend out of it!

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Phoenix and Scottsdale have plenty of ride share options including Uber, Lyft, and Waymo. Feel free to rent a car if that better fits your needs for the weekend!

Question

Can I drive myself to the venue?

Answer

Yes! While you’re welcome to drive yourself to the venue, we will be providing transportation to and from the hotel for your convenience. We highly encourage guests to take advantage of the provided transportation so everyone can relax and fully enjoy the celebration! Please note that Arizona has a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to drinking and driving. Meaning any amount of alcohol, even a single sip, can result in a DUI. For everyone’s safety, we strongly recommend using the provided transportation or a rideshare service.
