We met at Colorado State University back in 2014, when Fort Collins was still new to both of us. At the time, Devin and her roommates rented a classic college house on Timber Lane and became known as the “Timber Girls.” Mike had his own tight-knit crew of friends he grew up with in Springfield, Colorado, who stayed close through college and were known as the “Springfield Boys.” The Timber Girls and the Springfield Boys crossed paths at a house party, and that’s where we met—under the strobe lights, with music blasting from a wannabe DJ. The rest is history. We spent countless hours “studying” at the Ramskeller, wandering through Old Town, hiking Horsetooth, and laughing together no matter what we were doing. What started as an easy fun friendship grew into a relationship and became the foundation of everything we share today. In 2020, we took our next step together and moved from Fort Collins to Westminster. More recently, we planted roots in Thornton, Colorado, where we bought our first home. In 2021, our little tri-color corgi, Theo, joined the family, and since then the three of us have been chasing adventures across Colorado. We’re so grateful for where we started and excited for all that’s still ahead.
