We first met in high school! Even though we graduated together, we had only spoken a handful of times. After many years of not talking, we eventually found each other again five years after graduation. Once we reconnected, we went on several dates and met each others very interesting families! It was love at first sight!

After seven months of dating, it was time. Lucas said "I could have proposed to her months ago, I truly knew that I had found the person I've been waiting my whole life for." During a family gathering at Devan's mom's house, Lucas decided to propose with the majority of Devan's family there. The song "Marry Me" by Bruno Mars was playing, the whole family gathered around! Lucas got down on one knee and said "You are the most special person in my life, I truly want that forever.. Will you marry me?" Devan obviously said yes!
