Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love for everyone to dress up with us! We're requesting cocktail attire for the evening. For men, this could mean suits and ties, sports coats, or dress pants/khakis with a tie. For women, floor-length dresses or cocktail dresses would be perfect. Most importantly, please wear what makes you feel your best! We do kindly ask that you avoid wearing jeans, hats or the color white. Please and thank you.

Can I bring a Plus One?

Answer

Due to a limited space, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited. Please refer to the QR code provided on the invitation or the RSVP tab to view the number of seats reserved in your honor.

May we bring our children?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event. We hope you understand and enjoy your night off!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm and the road to entering the venue grounds will be closed at 4:20 until after the ceremony so as to not to interrupt or provide distractions. For this reason, please arrive at least 30 minutes early. Climate control accommodations will be available until it is time to be seated. If you are late, we will not be waiting! :-)

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Kindly RSVP no later than April 1st, 2026. Our venue and caterer have requested that we provide all RSVPs in advance, so we truly appreciate your prompt response.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes! Drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you! We are celebrating with beer, seltzers, and wine. There will be a variety of soft drinks, water, and decaf coffee provided as well. We kindly ask that you do not bring your own alcohol, as our venue has a strict policy against outside beverages. We are contractually obligated with this policy and violations. Violations could result in significant fines and guests being asked to leave. Let's keep the celebration hassle-free and enjoyable for everyone!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors with the reception being indoors. May is a beautiful time in Virginia, and we have handheld fans in case it gets a little warm. The reception barn is climate controlled. ** Ladies, please be aware that the venue includes both gravel and grassy areas, so wear suitable footwear for your comfort and safety. **

What if I have food allergy concerns?

Answer

Various food options have been taken into consideration to accommodate most dietary restrictions. We will have nut and gluten free options available as well.

Is there parking on site?

Answer

Yes, there is ample parking with attendants to provide assistance. The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception are all within walking distance from the parking lot; however, we are pleased to share that complementary golf cart transportation from the parking lot to the ceremony location is available for those who need assistance.

I'm flying in for the weekend, what Airport should I use?

Answer

The wedding venue is located about 30 miles north of Richmond, VA. If you are flying in for the weekend, RIC is the best airport to use. The airports in Norfolk and Dulles are over 2 hours away, and Charlottesville is about an hour away.

Is smoking allowed?

Answer

The venue has a no-smoking policy indoors. There will be a designated smoking area for smoking cigarettes and using vapes.

Do you have any hotel recommendations for the weekend?

Answer

We have reserved a limited number of hotel rooms at the Hyatt House hotel in Short Pump for our guests who would like a place to stay for the weekend. This hotel is located at Short Pump Mall and details are provided on the "Where To Stay" tab. Please note that all rooms will be released after 2/27/26, so please make your reservations early.
