We're getting married!!!

Our love story is a testament to the way God’s timing has guided our lives. It’s a story that begins even before we realized it — we were both born at the same hospital, just hours apart. Our paths crossed again in middle school, where we became friends, unaware of the journey that would eventually unfold. High school brought us closer as we began dating in 2013, but like many young relationships, we went our separate ways for a while still always staying in contact and always keeping our love for each other. College became a time of growth and self-discovery, where we focused on finding who we were apart from each other. Destiny going and playing softball at Dixie State University in Utah and Shane playing baseball at Ventura College then going to Long Beach to finish school both getting their Bachelors in 2020. After graduation, our paths crossed once more, and this time, it was as if we had finally come home to one another. For the next two years, we navigated a long-distance relationship when Destiny was in grad school at A.T. Still University in Arizona and Shane was on the Ventura County Fire Crew. On May 17th, 2024, Shane proposed to Destiny in beautiful Hawaii. We both now live in our hometown of Camarillo, Destiny as a pediatric occupational therapist while Shane as a Ventura County firefighter. We know God has brought us to this place, and we can’t wait to see what He has in store for us next as we begin this new chapter together.
