We’re getting married!

It was June 23rd, I posted a flyer on my instagram to promote an event I was going to do photography for (The Pachuco Ball in Sacramento). I had received a message from a guy he asked me if I was going and I explained that “Yes I’ll be taking pictures there” he said that he was going to try and make it, I didn’t think anything of it just told him hopefully I’d see him there. Didn’t think anything of it after that conversation. The next day comes me and my friend Lily head to Sacramento and get ready for the day, we head to the event and I begin taking photos, the runway show was about to begin so I have a seat in the front row. A little bit into the show I received a message from this guy again saying that he couldn’t get in, he didn’t realize he needed a ticket, he ends up figuring out how to buy a ticket and gets in at this point I’m into my photos and not paying attention to my phone. Finally I check my phone and he messaged me letting me know he was in, I start discreetly looking around to see if I recognize him. Finally see this 6 foot guy in a red and white shirt with a smile on his face when we lock eyes. The show goes on and finally starts to come to an end so I end up meeting him and we leave the show to go to a restaurant across the street. We talked for an hour or so and he walked me and my friend to the car. The conversation was great but I didn’t want to get my hopes up, we ended up talking through text and face time for a while, but my mind started to get the best of me and I put a wall up because he was so far I didn’t want to get hurt. I ended up blocking him on all accounts (Jerk Move) I know but I didn’t want to fall in love when I had just been focused on myself and my career. About a week later I get a message from someone I didn’t know, (His Sister) She asked me why I had blocked her brother and that he really had feelings for me , I explained my point and she said she understood. After that I felt like a total jerk for doing what I did and I unblocked him, and texted hey not thinking he’d message me back, but he did. We ended up talking about how I felt and he made my feelings feel valid, FaceTime calls, endless Texts, long trips to San Jose as much as he possibly could to making things official August 10th 2023, to making the big decision to live with each other right afterwords. And Every moment that has happened in between then and now has shown us that God put us in each-others lives for a reason and he made sure that we made a life worth living together through the good and bad.
