We come from two different South Carolina towns—Destiny from Newberry and Kedarius from Anderson—but God had a plan to bring our worlds together. We first met almost four years ago at Newberry College, both of us sophomores just focused on school and our future goals, not knowing the biggest blessing of our lives was right in front of us.Kedarius graduated from Newberry with a bachelor’s degree in Business and continues to grow in the business industry, with dreams of running his own office one day. He puts God, family, and his goals at the center of everything he does.Destiny also graduated from Newberry College with a degree in Nursing and Military Science. She now serves as an active-duty Registered Nurse in the U.S. Army, always committed to caring for others and reaching her long-term goal of becoming a CRNA. She finds joy in learning, helping, and creating special memories with her loved ones.Our relationship officially began on April 29, 2022, and from that moment on, life has been full of growth, excitement, and endless love. We bought our first home together, explored the world with our new passports, and built a foundation stronger than anything we could have imagined.On June 10, during a cruise in the Caribbean, our lives changed forever. Surrounded by the ocean and God’s beautiful creation, Kedarius asked Destiny to marry him—and she said yes.Now we stand here, grateful for how far we’ve come and excited for everything God has planned for our future. This is our story—one built on faith, love, and a forever we can’t wait to share.
