“We’re Getting Married!”

Josh Duggins and Destiny Scruggs’ love story began in 2016 at the Boiling Springs High School football stadium. Despite Destiny’s reserved nature, Josh persisted in getting to know her, which eventually led to a strong friendship. As their friendship grew, so did their love for each other. One day, Josh came over to Destiny’s parents’ house with one thing in mind—he asked her to be his girlfriend, and she said yes! A year later, these high school sweethearts took their first trip together to Gatlinburg, Tennessee—a place that would later hold an even more significant spot in their hearts. Fast forward to January 2024, the month of the big question! Josh spent months planning the perfect proposal, ensuring he had Destiny’s parents’ blessing and involving their dearest friends in the plan. On January 19, 2024, Josh took Destiny’s hand, got down on one knee, and—spoiler alert—she said yes! And now, here we are, planning our wedding and celebrating with our beloved family and friends as we begin this exciting new chapter as Mr. & Mrs. Duggins!
