Our Story

It all started back in 2013 when a young Jordan was walking the halls as a freshman at Dinuba High School. Since Destiny was two years older, this was the first time they would ever attend school together. Looking back, this was technically the moment Destiny began her lifelong pursuit of younger men. Some might call it fate. Others might call it the early stages of a cougar in training.  While some might think this is where the love story starts as they would spend the next 2 years passing each other in the halls of Dinuba High, fate had a ten year waiting period built into contract. Fast forward ten years to 2023. Jordan came across a picture of Destiny that her best friend had posted and immediately requested to follow her on Instagram. This is definitely where the love story begins right?? ….Well you’re wrong. You see, Destiny's first impression of Jordan wasn't exactly love at first sight. In fact, she instantly categorized him as what the kids and apparently millennials call a "red flag." It wasn't until September 2023 that their lives would finally cross paths for real. At Jordan's grandpa's birthday party, Jordan and Destiny locked eyes for the first time. Well, technically Jordan was busy falling in love while Destiny was thinking: "Wait... isn't that the red flag guy from Instagram?" Not exactly the fairy tale beginning Jordan had in mind. Shortly after, Jordan enlisted his Tia to put in a good word with both Destiny and her mom. With Jordan now officially pre approved by the family committee, Destiny waited for him to slide into her DMs like a Cowboys fan convincing themselves this is their year. But she waited. And waited. And waited some more. The same guy she had labeled a red flag was nowhere to be found. Destiny started wondering what was taking so long and why Jordan never sent a message. Then came October 8th, 2023 the same day the Cowboys were busy getting their butts kicked. Jordan finally gathered the courage to slide into Destiny's DMs. After securing her number, they made plans to grab coffee and hang out. At this point, you might think Destiny had changed her opinion of Jordan. If so, you're still getting ahead of the story. In fact, Destiny was still complaining to her mom about how she didn't want to spend time with this "red flag." Thankfully for Jordan, his future mother in law stepped in with some simple advice: "Give the boy a chance." So she did. That night, sitting at KC Park, they talked for hours. What started as a conversation turned into laughter, friendship, and eventually love. Somewhere between all those conversations, the red flag became a green one. And the rest, as they say, is history.
