John and Destiny started dating in April of 2017. Their love of coffee and food brought them together. During the first few months of dating, they went around the Bay Area and tried new restaurants. In June 2018, they moved in together and their love continued to grow. There were many career changes, ups and downs, and unprecedented times, but they leaned on each other for support and helped each other grow. In August 2023 on a trip to New York John proposed to Destiny at the High Line Park overlooking the beautiful New York City skyline. They are excited to continue growing with each other and share their special day with you. They hope to continue to travel and explore new places together.
