My best friend is so kind and smart. She loves cats even more than I do and paid to become ordained when I asked her to marry us. She also saved us and paid for all of our cats to get fixed and get their vaccinations, when we were in a financial situation that wouldn't allow us to do so. She is the cat Mom of Anastasia who was born of my Little Leela's pack. She is a Valedictorian and her intellect impresses me consistently. I couldn't ask for a better or more accepting best friend. You are more like the twin I never knew I wanted, and I am so glad you are a part of my family.

She is a former coworker of mine who made a place for herself in my heart with her kind gestures. Specially ordered spring colored sixlets for my birthday. (How she knew that I love sixlets so very much is still a mystery.) Showing up with her puppy and making sure that I knew someone was thinking about me. She paints with me and has brought her puppy to my apartment. This girl amazes me with her bravery. She loves to travel, figure out the science of drinks, and is going to run a marathon before coming and helping out on our special day. (She also makes the best fruit salad I have ever had.) You are a kindred spirit and I am determined to always be a part of your life. I think of you like a Sister and I hope you know how valued you are.

Always suited to follow my own path, no matter how many people leave my life or treat me horribly for doing so. I am weird and unique in every way, and I am proud of myself for how brave I am to always be true to my inner self, regardless of societal whims and opinions. I have fought long and hard for my existence. Mostly against the demons within my own mind. I may not be anything special, and I may never save the world. However, I endeavor to be kind and loving to all of those who make an effort to show me that I am cared for. I love you, and I hope I have done well at making you feel loved. :)

You stuck around when I needed you, as a child. It can't have been easy to not be able to do anything to stop the pain of a young child. However, you were the first person to tell me that it was wrong for people to hit me. You bought me decent clothes and took me to the doctors, when my parents wouldn't. I am so lucky to have an amazing Aunt like you. I love you so much. Thanks for showing me that I deserved to be defended too. I don't think I would have figured it out, otherwise.
