We met at Dry Creek Baptist Camp in 2016, and when I first saw her I thought she was stunning. Our first interaction was her telling me I sucked at cabin cleaning, after I spent 8 hours cleaning. My opinion quickly changed after that and I began to be not so fond of Destiny Jones. I later found out she was going to be at Louisiana College, which is the school I was currently attending. After the summer, I came to a See You at the Pole Rally at Dry Creek and talked to her for a couple of hours while serving hamburgers. This is where I began to think she was cute. We later got to hang out at a Louisiana College Fall Preview Day that we both worked. You could say I was totally into her after that. We then met up at a Louisiana College 70's Skate Night, and she looked gorgeous! Destiny was her normally clumsy self, which meant I caught her from falling multiple times that night. I guess you could say she fell on me but i fell for her. I proceeded to ask Destiny out two more times and got rejected both times. I was kinda feeling like giving up but then the Louisiana College Homecoming Hoedown night came. That night me and her got to spend more time together, and I asked her on a double coffee date. We spent majority of the night together. We went from drinking coffee to going on the roof of FAB to hammocking late at night. We ended the night in English Village Lobby laughing and talking until 4:00am. We got so tired that when one of us would yawn the other would. After that night, we were "unofficially" dating. She made me wait until the semester was over to ask her to be my official girlfriend. So on December 8, 2016 me and Destiny began a journey that has lead us to this wonderful day. There has been up's and down's but we hung on and cherished every moment together. I asked her to marry me on February 3, 2018 at the same place we first said we loved each other. We are so excited to begin a new part of our journey together on December 22, 2018.
