AJ and I have been best friends since we were kids. We’ve grown up side by side: through school, life, and everything in between and somehow made it all the way into adulthood still just as close. AJ has always been the kind of friend who shows up, no questions asked and sometimes very quickly. I still laugh thinking about the day I changed my Facebook status to “In a Relationship.” It took about three minutes before my phone rang. It was AJ, calling to make sure I hadn’t been hacked and that this was, in fact, a real, Facebook-official relationship. That’s who he is, loyal, protective, and always looking out for the people he loves. I couldn’t imagine my wedding day without him by my side. Having him as my best man isn’t just an honor; it’s a reflection of a lifelong friendship I’m truly grateful for.

One of my very good friends, we met through a shared love of gaming and quickly became friends.
