Ariana and Destinee met at the Toftrees Golf Resort for dinner and it was their first time meeting in person after they matched on Bumble. Destinee knew Ariana was someone special because she showed up in a really snazzy outfit and a pair of crocs. Despite the rain, Destinee and Ariana immediately hit it off and spent hours talking and laughing over burgers and beers until the Resort closed.

While Destinee was resting at home after a snowboarding injury, Ariana decided to propose after months of hinting at the proposal. She said there was never going to be a perfect time and place and she couldn't wait any longer, so she popped the question in the living room of their home. Destinee loved the small, intimate moment that is just for them to share. They later went out to dinner and celebrated when Destinee was feeling better.
