Wedding Party

Michaela Brown

Maid of Honor

Michaela Brown has been my best friend for my entire life. Through life's ups and downs, joys and sorrows, and everything in between she and our friendship have remained constant and everlasting. She's my person.

Paris Casey

Bridesmaid

Paris Casey is such a light. When I first met her, I instantly knew that she is the kind of person that cares and loves so deeply. I've never met someone so full of radiating joy. She's warm and full of life, I knew we'd hit it off.

Chelsea Cotton

Bridesmaid

Chelsea Cotton is literally my twin. We laugh the same, think the same, and we've been told all throughout our lives that we look the same. Chelsea is one of the strongest women I know and she never ceases to amaze me with her power and grace.

Tinasia Garrett

Bridesmaid

Tinasia Garrett is in a class all by herself. A true jack of all trades and a force to be reckoned with, no matter how much time passes between us when we get together it's like we never left. The person I'd call when I think of "partner in crime", literally!

Kiara Lee

Bridesmaid

Kiara Lee is like my soul sister. Upon meeting Robert's family, I was introduced to so many family members and friends but it was Kiara who I connected with and bonded with first...the first one to call me "sister". She has a genuine spirit and a heart of gold.

Yasmine Little

Bridesmaid

Yasmine Little is the friend that I never knew I needed. She embodies strength, persistence and determination, even in the darkest of times. She's the most straight shooting powerhouse that will love you harder than anyone else.

Kordrick Gibbons II

Best Man

Kor Gibbons, my closest friend. After meeting freshman year in college, we've been inseparable. We truly understand one another and I know for a fact we'd do just about anything for each other. Spending all-nighters in Bemis, traveling the world, and watching movies over FaceTime...it's a pleasure to have him as one of my Best Men.

William Ricks

Best Man

Will Ricks, my oldest friend. We met in the first grade and have been close ever since. From little kids racing at recess, to playing Monopoly all day during Spring Breaks in high school, to celebrating each others marriages...he's been the brother I never had and I'm honored to have him as one of my Best Men.

Michael Davis

Groomsman

Mike Davis, the only guy who ever outdid me in math. He was the dump truck of our friend group, eating all the leftovers in my fridge. Nonetheless, his sense of humor and his willingness to do anything for the people he loves is why I'll always consider him one of my closest friends.

Darius Johnson

Groomsman

Darius Johnson, DJ, one of my closest cousins. I always enjoyed knowing I'm 6 months older than him, even though he was always bigger than me. We grew up very close, playing video games, eating corn like pigs (him), and using the decorative towels to dry our hands (also him). I love the man he's become and I'm happy to have him apart of this journey.

Keyshawn Jones

Groomsman

Keyshawn Jones, my soon to be Brother in-Law. I've had the pleasure of meeting the caring and protective...very protective brother of Destini. It took a minute to breakthrough, but I respect the love he has for his little sister and the rest of his family. I've enjoyed the time he and I have spent getting to know each other and I'm looking forward to us having a closer relationship. But not too close...you like the cowboys.

Dominic Mcdonald

Groomsman

Dom McDonald, the life of the party. Having him as a friend has honestly been a wild ride and I've enjoyed every second of it. He's the butt of a lot of jokes, but also makes a lot himself. He's become a good man with great ambition and I'm proud to have him as one of my Groomsmen.

Takisha Jones

Mother of the Bride

Takisha Jones...what is there for a daughter to say about her mother. She's my first role model, my first best friend, my first superwoman. I am, because she is. She is everything that I aspire to be.

Kevin Jones

Father of the Bride

Kevin Jones...my first knight in shining armor. My Incredible Hulk, my Superman, my Deddy. We are inseparable and our bond as father and daughter is unbreakable.

Karen Sims

Mother of the Groom

My mother Karen, the most compassionate person I've ever met. She's the pinnacle of a Godly woman..but will still chew you out if need be. I was her road dog, going everywhere she went and somehow, I never got tired of her. A mother to me and a mother to all, and I love her dearly.

Robert Sims Sr.

Father of the Groom

Robert Sr., old man, the guy who taught me how to do just about everything. A man of few words, but a big heart. A true provider, protector, and finder of something on sale. We bonded over sports, movies, music, technology, and most importantly, annoying people (probably my favorite thing he taught me). The reason I am who I am.

Kaydence Jones

Honorary Flower Girl

Kaydence Jones is my first and only niece and steals my heart away each day with her contagious laugh, inquisitive nature, and her beauty. Kaydence is a true breath of fresh air, even when she runs out of patience waiting on her auntie to unlock her phone.

Kovu Jones-Sims

Honorary Broom Bearer

Kovu Jones-Sims is our first born son. He's proven his loyalty to us (mainly his mom) by constantly following our every footstep and his loyalty to being deemed a "spoiled Prince" by laying around jobless while expecting endless belly rubs, treats/food (including ours), and toys.
