Virginia Museum of Fine Arts
VMFA is where we would spend a lot of our time when we were living in Richmond. Whether that be drinking wine on the lawn, or hanging out with friends, we loved having this beautiful spot so close to us.
Carytown
Carytown has so many cute spots, and it's only a short drive into the city. Devin lived in his first big boy apartment in Carytown and it truly became home to us for a year. Although we moved out of the city, we do not have enough good things to say about Carytown and its charm.
Hidden Wit Brewing Company
This is a brewery that is very close to our house. We might have been one of their first customers when they opened. It is very homey, and provides yummy food and really good drinks.
Great American Ranch
If we are looking for a good time, we go to the Great American Ranch also known as GAR to us. If you are looking for any live music, and drinks this would be the perfect place for you.
Uptown Alley Richmond
If you know Devin, you know he picks up hobbies all the time and this fostered one of his longest standing hobbies. They have bowling, pool, live music, and a bar. You truly couldn't ask for much more.
Latitude Seafood Co. Chesterfield
If you are looking for a nice dinner when you get in town, Latitude is always a good option. Taylor worked there her sophomore year of college summer and she still loves the food to this day.
The Boathouse at Sunday Park
If you know Kylie, you know that she got married at the boathouse. It is so beautiful sitting right on the reservoir, where you can see all of the sailboats that are out that day.
Casa Tezcal
If you love Mexican, this is the perfect restaurant for you. One time, we were getting dinner and my parents walked in to have dinner as well and we didn't even discuss it, that should say something about their authentic and delicious food.
