If you are flying in for the wedding, we recommend flying into Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Atlanta is about 1 hour away from Monroe, GA where the ceremony will be located. Athens, GA, where the University of Georgia is located, is about 30 minutes from Monroe. If you are traveling from Atlanta to Athens, travel time will be 1 hr and 30 minutes. We do kindly ask for you to stay in Monroe or Athens the night of the wedding due to late departures. With dark, twisting roads it would allow for all guests to have a safe and quick travel to their respective homes for the weekend.
