We met when we were 17 years old, Seniors in HIGHSCHOOL. We shared a mutual friend who at the time was in a singing group with Desmond. I through my Sweet 17 Bash and had his singing group SJ3 perform. The chemistry was almost immediate and he stayed after the party to hang out... its been US ever since. Who would have known two love birds in highschool would be engaged today.

For Desmonds Birthday ( MAY 8th) I treated him to see his favorite singing groups new play on Broadway " Aint To Proud" in New York on MAY 10th/ Desmond decided he was going to make dinner reservations for us as his treat. I was sort of upset that he would plan a dinner on HIS BIRTHDAY, but I let it slide. He took me to a building where he claimed we had a private dinner waiting, but when he opened the door what I thought was dinner, was really a ROOF TOP in TIME SQUARE, with beautiful candles leading me to a " MARRY ME?" sign with Champagne & a huge bouquet of ROSES! My High school sweetheart, love of my life and best friend of all time, got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever and MARRY HIM! A total dream come true!
