A School Daze Story the Davis version Crystal & Robert met in college of course on the grounds of The Virginia State University in Petersburg, VA. They are college sweethearts and have decided to be a union. The year was 2006 that started all the history of us. Rob always had in his mind “Like me a lot just don't Love me. Thanksgiving 2015, Robert decided to slide down on one knee and ask for Crystal’s hand in marriage. The engagement was taken place in the heart of New York City amongst Crystal’s family. It was one funny, but cute moment. Crystal was shocked, but yet excited because this was the day that their lives would change forever, a long time coming as she would say. Robert is from Newport News, Virginia and Crystal is from Brooklyn, New York they will meet and join as one as The Davis Union on 12-31-18. Robert Daniel Davis IV was born in Louisiana and raised in Newport News, VA. He is the son of Robert Daniel Davis III and Cynthia Kay Davis and the middle child of three; Joclynn Richardson and Elizabeth Davis. Robert attended Denbigh High School where he ran Track and Field. He studied Physical Education at the Virginia State University where he graduated cum laude in 2008 and became a High School Physical Education Teacher. He quickly pursued his passion for Track and Field and became coach of Virginia State University Track & Field. Crystal Jewel Boyd was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York She is the oldest daughter of Opal Boyd and Walter Gill. The second oldest daughter of five; Takima Darnell, Elliot Boyd, Julian Boyd-Campbell and Johnathen Boyd. Crystal attended Martin Luther King High School where she was on the step team and chess team. She studied at Virginia State University and pursued a BA in Public Relations and minor in English. She loves to travel, reading and social events.
