I'm coming from Canada, what is the weather on Sao Miguel in September?

Answer

September on Sao Miguel is similar, temperature wise, to a gorgeous July in Canada with an island twist. Usually, days are in the mid to high 20's but with the breeze off the water, conditions can change quickly. We could see some rainy, wet days as well so come prepared both rain and shine!

Will I need to rent a car to explore the island?

Answer

While there is a public bussing system available, we highly recommend renting a car to explore the island. The wedding ceremony will be taking place in a rural town on the north west side of the island, which does require private transportation to get to. We may have a shuttle service available for our guests on wedding day for this.

Should I bring a gift?

Answer

While both the bride and groom consider your attendance enough of a gift, we know weddings put many in a giving mood. Donations to their honeymoon fund is preferred and accepted however you feel comfortable (cash, e transfer etc.) We encourage you find and send any tactical gifts directly through the "registry" tab on the top of this page to Daniel and Carly in Edmonton so travel can go smoothly for both your gift and our happy couple.
