7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

We’re kicking off the weekend in elevated island style & vibes! In honor of Taylor’s stepdad, Scott Morrow, men are encouraged to wear their favorite Hawaiian shirt with tailored slacks or shorts. Ladies, think bold colors, and cocktail party-attire.

As we kick off the wedding weekend together, please join us for a relaxed evening featuring cocktails and light bites, set at the Cavalier Beach Club overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. This gathering is designed for guests to unwind after a day of travel, reconnect with familiar faces, and get acquainted with the venue ahead of the celebrations to come. We can’t wait to welcome you!

Beach & Pool Day (Optional)

10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Take this day to relax, explore, and soak up the best of Virginia Beach at your own pace. Whether lounging by the pool, strolling the shoreline, or venturing out into town, we hope you enjoy all the area has to offer. Be sure to check the resort’s activity schedule and visit the “Things to Do” section on our website for local recommendations and ideas to make the most of your day.

Wedding

5:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Attire Tips: Elevated island elegance; think bold colors, breezy fabrics, & effortlessly polished looks that celebrate the spirit of summer by the sea.

For the Ladies: Flowy gowns in vibrant hues. We love satin, silk, sequins, or pleats - styles that move with the breeze and sparkle in the sun. Feel free to go bold with color or metallic accents. For the Gentlemen: Light suits in linen, cotton, or summer-weight wool are the way to go. Opt for playful pairings—like a pale blazer with a fun, colorful tie. We look forward to celebrating our wedding day with you along the Virginia Beach coast. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM on the Island Lawn. Please plan to arrive early and take your seats prior to the start of the ceremony. Cocktails immediately following the ceremony from 6:00 to 7:00 PM on the Seaside Terrace, located on the second floor. The celebration will continue with dinner and dancing from 7:00 to 11:00 PM in the Seaside Ballroom. We can’t wait to share this special evening with you!
