We’re eloping!

Destenee and Markus met in high school through Destenee's step-brother, Rosario. Markus and Rosario were childhood friends and connected them. From there, their relationship grew. They graduated high school together from Avon High School in 2015 and moved to Jacksonville, FL for a year only to move back to Indiana. They worked full time at IU Health, University Hospital while they were both completing their undergrad.Since graduating, they've been furthering their careers, traveling, and living their lives to the fullest with their fur baby, Thelma Lou (Butters). 2021 was the year for Destenee and Markus. They both received promotions at IU Health and sold their first house. On December, 23, 2021 Markus took Destenee to the St. Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime Museum. They climbed the 216 steps and stood on the 140 foot observation deck overlooking the city, the sunset, and the ocean. Markus got down on one knee and asked Destenee to marry him. She of course said YES! The two are set to elope in Jamaica on October 6, 2022 which happens to be their 9 year anniversary.
