May 31st is the last day to RSVP. Please either accept or decline the invitation as soon as you are able! If you are unable to attend, please still decline the RSVP; so we can get the most accurate numbers asap to our vendors. Anyone who has not responded by May 31st will unfortunately be marked as not attending due to venue and catering restrictions.
Ceremony starts promptly at 3:30pm. We will be offering pre-ceremony drinks at our open bar starting at 3pm. Please make sure you arrive no later than 3:15pm, to ensure you have enough time to park, and find your seat! We will have a parking attendant helping guide cars on where to park.
For our wedding, we invite you to enjoy a night of dressing up! Dress code: “Black Tie Optional” or “Formal”: Long formal dresses and suits. Don’t be afraid to experiment with bright colors, patterns, frills, or statement silhouettes. Think summer garden! *Some example photos can be seen in the Gallery tab on this website. Feel free to branch out, and don’t feel obligated to match. Photos are there for those who are unsure about the dress code :) —- Thinking of wearing a fun color or style of suit like pink or florals? Hell yeah! —- What is Black Tie Optional/Formal Attire? Black Tie Optional is more formal than cocktail attire, but less fancy than traditional black tie. It does not require tuxes, or ballgowns; but it does mean suits, and long formal dresses. (We personally don’t care, if you’d like to skip out on wearing a tie or heels. But if they are your style- wear them!) —- Just keep in mind that outfits you may consider wearing to a backyard BBQ, like sundresses or kakis will not be appropriate for this special occasion. While sneakers also aren’t an appropriate option, feel free to ditch the heels, and put on some comfy flats! The bride, of course, requests no one wear white. Cream, ivory, or similar shades also should not be worn. (White shirts under suits are fine). If you would like to avoid matching: Bridesmaids will be wearing green, and the Groomsmen will be wearing traditional black & white suits. Can’t find a dress? We recommend thrifting! We support environmentally friendly habits, and want the dress code to be as affordable as possible! If thrifting isn’t your style: Several guests have had success on the website Azazie, shopping from their formal & evening wear selections. Azazie is size inclusive, and (in our personal experience) very trust worthy. For suits we recommend men’s warehouse or Amazon. We’re excited to create a classy atmosphere and capture beautiful moments with you!
Our wedding is RSVP-only, and we can only accommodate those specifically listed on your invitation. The venue does have some restrictions, and any unapproved guests will be escorted out. Please honor the RSVP and refrain from bringing uninvited guests. If you RSVP "yes," we kindly ask that you commit to attending! We invited you because we care about you and truly want you to be there. We appreciate your understanding. Thank you!
This was a difficult decision for us. We’ve noticed that many significant moments can be disrupted by children who may not be able to stay seated or behave appropriately. Given that weddings tend to be formal events, we’ve realized they may not always be the best environment for young children. After careful thought, we’ve decided to invite only those children we’ve spent time with in the last year. (This is in truth- a very limited number). We trust their parents to ensure they remain seated and not cause distractions during key moments like the ceremony and first dance. We truly love the children in our lives, and we remember how much fun weddings were when we were kids ourselves. As we have a large family, we had to make some tough choices, and we hope you understand our decision to limit the number of children invited. If your children are included in the invitation and you would prefer to make childcare arrangements, we wholeheartedly encourage you to do so. We understand the desire to fully enjoy the evening and indulge in refreshments. Please note- we will not be censoring the evening. Adult music (and dancing) will play, and drinks will be flowing. There are also several large koi ponds on property. It is important children are closely watched to avoid any accidents. For those bringing children, there is a small playground located near the bar on the cocktail hour lawn. If your child needs a break during the ceremony, feel free to step outside with them and enjoy the playground. You’re also welcome to explore the larger grounds of the plant nursery if your child needs the ability to not have to mind their noise level. We are incredibly fortunate to be loved by so many, and we appreciate your understanding. Thank you!
There is free parking onsite at the back of the venue! There will be a parking attendant to help guide your parking process. Ceremony and reception will be held at the same venue.
We will have an open bar, with wine, beer, and some signature cocktails at the wedding. If you will be partaking, please plan ahead. Ubers, hotels, or having a designated driver are all great options! Your car may stay parked in the venue parking lot for up to 24hrs without being towed! We and the venue owners, want to make sure you get home safely!
Having you at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for, and we’re truly grateful to share this special day with you. If you’d like to celebrate with a gift, we’ve set up a registry under the Registry tab on this website. However, as we’re saving for a home and starting our family, a contribution to our fund would be the most meaningful gift to us. A card box will be available at the wedding for your convenience. Thank you again for your love and generosity!
This is a garden venue. If you experience seasonal allergies, we highly recommend you bring medication as many different types of flowers will be in bloom! For food allergies: We will be serving a pasta buffet, with chicken and beef. Salad will be available as well. Please let us know if you have any severe allergies and we will accommodate you to the best of our abilities.
The venue has strict policies regarding smoking and vaping. (This is common for wedding venues). There is a designated smoking and vaping area. We will have a sign on where to find it. Smoking at your car, is still on venue property and can get our event shut down for violating our contract. The venue is also a working plant nursery in the front. Please do not go stand and smoke on the public road in front of the venue. We want to be respectful of their business. We appreciate you only smoking and VAPING in the venues designated area.
We kindly ask that you do not bring any pets to the venue. The property is home to a livestock guardian dog who is people friendly but trained to stay with his herd in the field behind the parking area. While he is people-friendly, he is protective of the livestock and will not hesitate to defend them if he feels a threat, including other dogs. For the safety of all animals, please do not bring any pets onto the property, even if they are kept in your vehicle. The presence of other animals could cause stress for the guardian dog as he does his job, and any pets brought onto the property will be at serious risk. As a result, the pet’s owner will be asked to leave. If you need to bring a pet with you, there are several pet-friendly accommodations nearby that may be a good option for your stay. Thank you for your understanding!
