Our story started in San Antonio, Texas, two dental techs just trying to get through long shifts and early mornings. We became friends first (and we swear we were “just friends”... at least that’s what we kept telling everyone). From the very beginning, Marco was there for me, a shoulder to cry on, a listening ear, giving advice, and always being that person I could count on, no matter what. Life felt busy and complicated, but somehow, he always found a way to make it a little brighter. About a year later, he asked the question that changed everything, to be his girlfriend. And just like that, my world went from “me and Isla” to us! Since then, our days have been filled with music, dancing in the rain, cooking, puzzles, and more laughter than either of us could have imagined. Marco quickly became the steady, loving presence Isla and I didn’t even realize we were missing... the missing piece that made our little family whole. Now, here we are, getting ready to say “I do” in beautiful Colombia, a place as vibrant, colorful, and full of life as the love we’ve built. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you and start this next amazing chapter together.

Nuestra historia comenzó en San Antonio, Texas: dos técnicos dentales simplemente tratando de sobrellevar turnos largos y mañanas tempranas. Primero nos hicimos amigos (y juramos que éramos “solo amigos”… al menos eso era lo que le decíamos a todo el mundo). Desde el principio, Marco estuvo ahí para mí: un hombro en el que llorar, alguien que sabía escuchar, que daba consejos y que siempre estaba presente, sin importar qué. La vida se sentía ocupada y complicada, pero de alguna manera él siempre encontraba la forma de hacerla un poco más brillante. Aproximadamente un año después, hizo la pregunta que lo cambió todo: que fuera su novia. Y así, de repente, mi mundo pasó de ser “Isla y yo” a ser nosotros. Desde entonces, nuestros días se han llenado de música, bailando bajo la lluvia, cocinando juntos, rompecabezas y más risas de las que cualquiera de los dos hubiera imaginado. Marco se convirtió rápidamente en esa presencia firme y amorosa que Isla y yo ni siquiera sabíamos que nos hacía falta… la pieza que completó nuestra pequeña familia. Y ahora, aquí estamos, preparándonos para decir “sí, acepto” en la hermosa Colombia, un lugar tan vibrante, colorido y lleno de vida como el amor que hemos construido. Estamos deseando celebrar con todos ustedes y comenzar juntos este nuevo y maravilloso capítulo.
