We are getting married!

Our story began when Demola moved to Windsor, Ontario from Waterloo. Prior to that, we had known each other casually. For the first few weeks after Demola moved, conversations were limited as Desola did not really like him (she had a biased view about him) and Demola was not in a headspace for a relationship. Everything changed when a group of friends, us included went to the beach during a public holiday. Casual conversations regarding a potential relationship between us from our friends sparked an interest. This spark blossomed to a full blown fire after multiple serious and witty conversations, long walks (Desola loves walking), Demola bribing Desola with food (Jollof rice), and overall alignment in values, purpose, and interests. Demola made it official in July 2025 and in May 2026, he asked her to marry him. We are so excited to take this next step in our journey and are looking forward to building a great life together.
