What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is creative cocktail. We want our guests to feel their best while still dressing to their personal style. Think cocktail attire but please feel free to add your own creativity - bold prints, cool patterns, and unique details are more than welcome.

Can I bring my child/children?

Answer

Although we love your kids, we are keeping guests to 15 years of age or older. We appreciate you respecting this decision and look forward to a fun night!

What can I expect for food offerings?

Answer

To fit with our more relaxed vibe for the evening, we will be offering a number of heavy appetizers following the ceremony. We will plan to have gluten free, vegetarian, and nut free options for guests with any dietary restrictions.

We will ask for any dietary restrictions when you RSVP. Please feel free to outreach to us separately with any requests/concerns.

Are the ceremony and reception at different locations?

Answer

All of the wedding (ceremony and reception) will take place at Six Mile Ordinary.

How should I get to the ceremony?

Answer

The venue is roughly a 15 minute walk (0.6 miles) away from the Broadway Hotel. Both Uber and Lyft operate throughout Columbia as rideshare options. There is street parking around the venue as well as a public lot nearby. We would encourage guests to utilize rideshare options when possible.

Will any parts of the ceremony or reception be outside?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception space will be primarily indoors. The venue does have a deck and outdoor space that guests are free to use during the reception. The weather in Missouri during late May can fluctuate. We suggest checking the weather ahead of time in case a light jacket or shawl would be helpful once the sun goes down and you plan to spend time outside.

What happens after the reception?

Please join us for the after party on The Roof. The Roof is located on the top floor of the Broadway Hotel where we have a room block. See the “Schedule” section on the website for more information.
